HOMELESSNESS AND MENTAL ILLNESS
The homeless initiative announced by the Alberta government will help the newly homeless, the working poor, who have been caught in the housing crunch the real estate boom has created. But what about the people deemed "hard to house?" The chemically dependent and mentally ill?

"Interview on Science and Religion" May 12th 6PM to 7PM on CTS 'Top Story' Alberta with Doug Main. Half hour length

Doug Main examines this question with Edmontonian Austin Mardon, who recently received the Order of Canada and the CM Hicks Award, the highest award from the National Canadian Mental Health Association, for his health advocacy on behalf of schizophrenics. Austin was also, himself, diagnosed with schizophrenia 15 years ago.
